摘要：“老上海復古風格”是指二十世紀初中期建筑，室內設計，軟裝的風格，在當時的時代背景下，各個國家，各個地方的文化均在上海交融匯集。

　　　在二十世紀二三十年代，裝飾藝術風格作為一種西方的流行風潮，以摩登，現代的姿態登陸上海，更加確定了“老上海風格”的整體調性，如果說早期上海的建筑是在傳承原汁原味的歐式古典建筑精神，滿足了人們對于古老西方文明的想象，那么具有積極樂觀精神的裝飾藝術，則完全迎合了上海當時的欣欣向榮，敢于冒險，充滿活力的藝術氛圍。值得一提的是，富有想象力的中國建筑師與工匠們還曾將中國傳統文化融入裝飾藝術風格中，形成獨有的裝飾藝術（Shanghai Art Deco）風格，體現出不拘一格，追求發展的海派精神。
